For Artists

Are you an artist interested in submitting your work?

SELECTION PROCESS:
Artists are selected based on a variety of criteria, including style and price points. Collector makes every effort to show a diverse selection of artistic perspectives. Unfortunately, not all work will be a good fit with Collector’s model and audience. Artists are selected on a rotating basis by a committee including the gallery owners, several artists and advisors. We have more than 200 artists on our registry and some artists are scheduled sooner than others based on the selection process.

TYPES OF WORK ACCEPTED:
We currently sell paintings, prints, photography, ceramics, mixed media, jewelry, and other handmade items. We prefer local artists and try to keep a ratio of 90% local artists at any given time, but we do consider artists from other areas.

SUBMISSION PROCESS:
Please send an email that includes:
• All your contact information
• Six to eight images of the specific work you would like to show
• Artist medium, dimensions, brief description and price points
Wall display pieces must be framed (with wire) and/or ready to hang. Submissions that do not include the required information will not be considered.
We do not respond “yes” or “no” to submissions. Instead, we will get back to you promptly and let you know you’ve been added to our artist registry. Our committee reviews work regularly and we will contact you if and when your work has been selected.

THE CONSIGNMENT MODEL:
Collector sells art on a consignment basis. Artists establish their own prices and we offer a 50/50 split on the selling price. We generally don’t accept pieces priced at more than $1000, and we prefer art priced below $400.
